I've been going to Shogun for atleast the last three years. It's my "go to" Sushi place. I tried Sakura across the street once and I never returned.
I loveeeeee the Pink Lady, Fried Lobster Dynamite Roll and Flyer Roll. We've both sat in and ordered take out. When ordering take out, it was always very fast. While dining in, it depends on how busy they are and what server you get. I've learned not to dine in during the lunch time rush.
Anyway, the fish is fresh and I've never had a bad experience. Additionally, I love the ginger dressing that comes with the side salad. The miso soup is a nice touch too. It's always flavorful and hot. -

Came here for lunch before heading back to New York with some friends. I would like to give a shout out to the server Nicki or Nikki, however you spell your name for making a snarky face when I only ordered one roll. Sorry I ate a little before coming here and was not that hungry. I didn't want to waste food so I just ordered an eel avocado roll.
Besides that experience, the food was good. I like how they added sesame seeds to the roll. I ate an salmon sushi from my friends plate and it was decent. The salmon was fresh. Can't complain
I would come back but I hope I get a better server. -

My family and I love Shogun! We love Japanese food and this is one of the best in the area, we think.
They have a very large selection of your typical rolls (California, dragon) but also a bunch of homemade creations (we recommend the Shogun Roll and Hot Fancy Roll). They offer raw and cooked options.
If you're into Hibachi, they have that too! It's always a fun time with a bunch of friends and family sitting around the table while the chef cooks and entertains.
They offer plenty of other dishes for those who don't like sushi. My wife loves their shrimp tempura while my kids love the bento boxes. -

Besides Yakitori in Philly, this is the only other spot I trust to get my sushi from. Food is always fresh!
Byob and large parking lot!
I love their Negimaki which is beef wrapped around scallions in a sweet and savory brown sauce. The tako yaki is also delicious!
Last time I was here, I ordered the spider roll which was good and also their chicken dinner which came with soup, salad, a shrimp appetizer (2pcs shrimp), fried rice, and ice cream. Also free refills on soda!! -

For some odd reason Sushi has been 50% off here for about a decade. To me that would mean that the 50% off price would actually be the price. I guess that's why I lost that marketing job I went out for.
Anyway, $2 miso soup, two types of $3 sushi and you could leave full. I'm a glutton so I normally get three kinds and a fried ice cream for desert.
They also have hibachi but I've never had it. I prefer the sushi side of things. Not that I don't love hibachi... I just have placed closer to me where I can get that. So you ask, don't you have sushi places closer? Yes. However for such a good, cheap Sushi I will travel. This place is absolutely worth it to me.
